Bio

Dan Vézina knew at an early age that he would become a drummer. When he was only eight years old, he couldn’t keep himself from playing drum beats with his pencils on his student desk. Then in High School, at thirteen, he got together his first "Big Band" playing "Aquarius / Let The Sunshine In" from the musical "Hair".

Later on, Dan joins many "cover" bands playing in bars and corporative events all across Quebec and Eastern Canada.

Whe was 28 years old, he becomes the drummer of Pop-Rock band Revolver, signed by the record company Isba/Sony Music. With "Tu Tombes En Amour" and "La fille du Shed Café", Revolver gets airplay on commercial radio and TV music station Musique Plus.

In 2007, Dan studies for one year at the prestigious "Musician’s Institute" of Los Angeles, the hallmark for any musician who dreams of leaving his mark. In the 12 months stay at the M.I.,he  explores new music styles, he refines his technique and his own musical signature.

In 2008, Dan is a freelance musician. He works with a dozen bands live and in recording studios. He teaches and on top of that, in 2014, he embarks on cruise ship for seven months that takes him to Europe and the Carribeans.

Back in Montreal in the Fall of 2014, Dan is the producer of Quebec first edition of the "Bonham Drum Show": a tribute to Led Zeppelin’s drummer: the great John Henry Bonham. This event leads him to get in touch with the people at L.A.‘s "Bonzo Bash".

Right now, Dan is preparing for his trip to one of America’s great music capitals : Nashville ! Lots of things to see and lots of people to meet …
